If you love block puzzles but are tired of how they're served, Blob Buster! is built for you. Classic mode is the same drag-and-clear loop on an 8×8 grid, so you can start playing in seconds. Here is what's different:
Fewer, fairer ads
No ads in your first 3 games. After that, only between games, never mid-game. Reviving is optional, with no countdown.
Pieces you can trust
Ads and purchases never change which pieces you get. The game never rigs a loss, and a jammed board gets a mercy piece.
Something to grow into
50 Adventure levels, seven Blobs, earned powers, boosters you buy with coins earned in play, and a Classic mode that keeps one honest high score.

Block puzzle game features
- Classic mode: endless, relaxing block puzzle. Chain clears for combos and climb your best score.
- Special Blobs: clear a row and a column together to earn a Zapper, two lines at once for a Bomb, or a 5× streak for a Rainbow. Set one off inside another for a chain reaction.
- Adventure mode: 50 levels across five chapters. Collect gems, hit target scores and uncover hidden pictures.
- Blob powers: seven Blob characters, each with a power you charge by playing and unleash when you're stuck.
- Plays offline: a no-Wi-Fi puzzle game for the commute, the plane or the couch.
- Relaxing and brain-training: easy to learn, with a short How to Play practice board for new players.

How to play Blob Buster!
- Drag the pieces at the bottom onto the 8×8 board.
- Fill a whole row or column to pop it and score points.
- Clear several lines at once or keep a streak going for combos and Special Blobs.
- When the board jams, use a Blob power or booster. The game ends when no piece fits.

Is Blob Buster! free?
Yes. Blob Buster! is free to download and play on iPhone and iPad. Optional purchases such as Remove Ads are available, but Blob powers are earned by playing, never sold.
Does Blob Buster! work offline?
Yes. There is no account and no sign-in, and the whole game plays without Wi-Fi or mobile data. Your progress stays on your device.
Is Blob Buster! a good Block Blast alternative?
If you like dragging pieces onto an 8×8 board and clearing rows and columns, yes: Classic mode plays the loop you know. The differences are that every block is a Blob character, powers are earned in play, there are 50 Adventure levels to grow into, and ads only appear between games. Blob Buster! is an independent game and is not affiliated with Block Blast.
How often are there ads?
Your first three games have none. After that ads only appear between games, never in the middle of one: at most one full-screen ad every four games and five minutes. Reviving after a loss is optional with no countdown, and the one-time Remove Ads purchase turns them off.
Is the game fair, or does it rig the pieces?
The game never rigs a loss. Ads and purchases have no influence on which pieces you get. If you fail a level several times the pieces get gentler, and a jammed board gets a mercy piece.
What is the age rating?
Blob Buster! is rated 9+ on the App Store, and the ads it shows are capped at a PG level.
